Over the last few months, Pinterest has become a fast moving social site in image haven for even more pin-tastic geeks. The growth in the last 2 years has been staggering. With the pinboards of many flavors and many colors pinterest is easily a favorite of mine.
And while many are scurrying to set up their pinboards for FOMO‘s sake, we in the tech world are curious as to what’s going on behind the scenes. What’s the growth rate? What does the demographic data look like? Referral traffic? Marketing? How does Pinterest really stack up against the big guys?
The questions never end, mainly because Pinterest kind of came out of the shadows and turned what we think as a social site an made it soft and easy on the eye. It’s brings you visual flair for the eyes and a little bit of information behind the visual. You can link to your content and tell a story.
